12. Sitri - Goetia Prince of Desire, Attraction and Emotional Exposure

The twelfth spirit described in the Ars Goetia is Sitri, a Prince known for his influence over desire, attraction, and the more… instinctive side of human behavior.

He is said to appear first with the head of a leopard and the wings of a griffin. But after invocation, he often takes on a human form - usually described as striking, even unusually attractive.

Which already hints at the nature of his current.

What Sitri Actually Does

Most sources describe Sitri in a very direct way - as a spirit who can cause people to fall in love or reveal their secrets.

But in practice, it’s not always that simple.

What he really affects is desire.

Not just romantic feelings, but the raw, unfiltered layer beneath them.

This can show up as:

sudden attraction or intensified interest;

stronger emotional or physical pull between people;

reduced inhibition in communication or behavior;

increased openness, sometimes unexpectedly;

And that last part is important.

Because when desire rises, boundaries often weaken.

The Nature of His Influence

Sitri’s current is intense, but not always stable.

It doesn’t build slowly like some other spirits.
It tends to ignite.

Which is why results can feel immediate… but also unpredictable if not handled carefully.

Some describe it as heightened chemistry.
Others notice people acting out of character - more expressive, more impulsive.

And occasionally, more revealing than they intended.

Connection to Older Traditions

There are interpretations linking Sitri to older figures, sometimes even to Set, a god associated with chaos, conflict, and raw force.

Whether this connection is literal or symbolic is unclear.

But the similarity in energy is often noted.

Not controlled influence - but something more primal.

When Do People Work With Sitri?

In modern practice, Sitri is often approached when:

attraction needs to be increased or awakened;

a relationship has lost intensity;

someone wants to stand out or be noticed;

there is emotional distance that needs to be broken;

confidence in romantic or social situations is lacking;

But it’s rarely just about “love”.

It’s about chemistry.

A Practical Observation

People often expect a clean, predictable result.

But Sitri doesn’t always work that way.

Interest grows quickly.
Attention increases.
Reactions become stronger.

And sometimes… things move faster than expected.

Which can be exactly what is needed - or something that requires awareness.

If You Are Considering Working With Sitri

If your situation involves attraction, lack of emotional intensity, or the need to increase presence and magnetism - Sitri is often chosen for this type of work.

Not to create artificial feelings.

But to amplify what is already there… sometimes to a noticeable degree.
